ABOUT NINA

about nina

I grew up in Tehran-Iran and was born at the beginning of an eight-year war between Iran and Iraq. I had to learn writing and reading from TV as the schools were closed for years. Losing my childhood in the war wasn’t the only difficult challenge I have faced in my life. When I was 13 years old, I was diagnosed with stage III Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. I had to quit school and went through surgery, chemotherapy, and aggressive radiotherapy for a year. My teenage years were mainly about visiting doctors and having regular check-ups, but I managed to finish high school and my first bachelor’s degree with distinction.

At the age of 26, I decided to move to the United Arab Emirates to study my second bachelor’s degree in laboratory medicine. Those 4 years in Dubai were so challenging, not because I was far away from my loved ones, but because I had to deal with extreme restrictions that Islamic culture inflicts on women. I was not able to digest why female students were not allowed to leave the campus without their husband’s, dad’s, or brother’s permission even if they were foreigners like me. What we were allowed to wear is another story!

I got married in 2010 and moved to Australia in 2012 to live a life on my terms, far away from outdated traditions and cultural limitations. I went through so many challenges in Australia to build my life from scratch. I had to deal with divorce during my doctoral study, and two unexpected pacemaker surgeries in 2020 and 2021 during lockdowns. It has not been an easy ride, but I have realized that those difficult moments made me who I am today, a true warrior living from her heart!

WHEN MY LIFE HAS CHANGED FOREVER

Although I was very successful in my study and career as a cancer epidemiologist, I have never felt fulfilled. Something was missing in my life no matter how great everything was! The golden moment that changed my life forever was November 2018, when I was at Melbourne Mind, Body, Spirit festival. I went to a psychic medium to get some clarity about how to tell everyone, including my parents, my marriage is over. I remember that I was so desperate and heartbroken; I had no support and didn’t know what to do. I sat in front of the reader and all I wanted to hear was “everything is going to be ok”. To my surprise, she was more focused on the blueprint of my soul and my life purpose rather than me going through divorce!

You should have seen my reaction during 25-minutes reading! In the end, she gave me a card and said “Nina, you are a natural-born healer, attend these courses to become certified as a medical intuitive and a healer”. I told myself this is a joke! I am not a healer and don’t know how to do any of the stuff she is talking about. But a voice inside me said DO IT! I attended those courses and magical things happened! All my healing powers and gifts became activated as I went through kundalini awakening. It was the greatest moment of my life; I became me, my authentic self. From that day, my passion/mission is helping people around the world to transform their life through healing their emotional wounds and breaking their patterns.

I shared my story to remind you that we all have faced and will face challenges in our life, but we are NOT victims of those experiences and stories. Remember, nothing can stop you from becoming the person you were born to be, except you! I am grateful that I had the opportunity to awaken to my true self, and I hope I can help you to do the same and live a fulfilled life that your heart desires.
